UCONN doesn’t have 2 starters out, so Gonzaga has no chance

Everyone knows UCLA would’ve stomped Gonzaga with Jaylen. Not to mention Bona. Most costly injury in UCLA history? I mean no team in the final 8 was going to beat UCLA. The #1 team defense in the country plus JJJ, Amari, and Tyger lighting it up on offense with Jaylen chipping in 13 and Singleton knocking down a few 3s. That was a championship team, man.

I have no doubt UCLA would've taken Gonzaga with Clark and Bona, but I have serious doubts they could've beaten UConn, even with those guys.

UCONN is on a nice run but they’re a 4-seed for a reason. They aren’t a super team all of a sudden. With Clark and Bona, UCLA would have been favored over UCONN. Of course, upsets are always possible.

UCLA would have definitely slowed down the game if they'd played UConn, and that might have made a difference. Gonzaga let UConn run too many times, and that was disastrous.

I noticed that too. What sucks is that Bona would’ve fallen for some of Tomme’s fakes but he would have also caused some misses and pulled down some boards. Just give us Clark or Bona. I still can’t believe the bad luck.
