It will face two years of probation and a $5,000 fine, in addition to the self-imposed penalties it previously prescribed. Former USC assistant Tony Bland, who pleaded guilty to a felony count of conspiracy to commit bribery in Jan. 2019, has received a three-year show cause order. Interesting summary from NCAA.
so the bribes were from an agent to an assistant coach to get the CURRENT players to sign up with said agent when they went pro??
This ain’t quite the hooker brothel story from LLouisville & Pitino To get a recruit to come to Program. I think if I recall correctly the accused player never played for USC Again right? Even tho he may not have been aware the agent was paying his Coach??
Is UCLA on probation for the Australian softball player?? Or mens soccer coach? You guys cheat at minor sports You don’t think you would cheat In big ones??
Oh come on now.......Being on probation at least once a decade for the last 70 years is quite an accomplishment, don't stop celebrating on account of me. Add this one to the banner?
So basically the cheating was totally worth it, right trojans?
Seems about right. Arizona will burn. Maybe. Or maybe they get the north carolina treatment. Or the miami treatment. Or the auburn treatment.
ncaa is arbitrary. (Captain Obvious speaking.)
