Lakers are falling apart. Down 11. James isn’t scoring. And the warriors just lose interest. Stop getting back on d. Turn the ball over. Take 3s with nonone underneath. 4 technicals in about 10 minutes of the second quarter? And they were all for different things. Moody grabbed Davis on a play that reminded me of Dennis Rodman grabbing Karl Malone in the back court
Green mouthed off and got one. Kept talking and I am surprised he didn’t talk his way all the way into the locker room. Exit.
Warriors, I think had an illegal defense and got another one
JaMychal Green also got one. I don’t even know who JaMychal Green is L O L.
suddenly they’re outscored 30-8 in 7 freaking minutes. How do you give up 30 points in seven minutes when you were the world champions? I don’t even know how you give up 30 points in seven minutes when you’re the worst team in the league
lakers lead at half by 11. Closed out the last two minutes well. 8-0 run. So champions regroup and come
out firing yes? Nope. They lose the third quarter by seven and enter the fourth quarter down 18. They give it about two minutes end of the fourth quarter and the lead goes up to 24, and then they quit. Pull all of the starters play almost the entire fourth quarter as garbage time and live to fight another day.
somehow I don’t recall the heyday warriors being like this. Certainly the great Celtics, Lakers and bulls teams. Were not like this.
Weird game today. Meaning the entire NBA in 2023. Either way great position for the Lakers to be in. You always want to be up 2 to 1. But if they lose the next game in the warriors have taken back home court. So in many ways, this was a must win for LA.
I saw an interesting stat, and that was that the Warriors are actually five and one under Steve kerr were able to make and anticipate adjustments much better than the opposition. Either way, Phil Jackson had a great advantage over others as a series progressed. Warriors seem to have the same. Hopefully not this time.
