As a USC fan of course.
Impressive passing/shooting display by the Cats. Looked like #2 Team in Country. Hell like #1.
Best passing team ive seen in a long time.
USC stars didnt show up. Cats international ones did.
Refs were awful. Cats showed up! Totally impressed.
Good way to get this taste out of our mouth is to win Saturday.
Yes I agree with most of what you said. No need to get so defensive.
I believe $400 mil is a bit exaggerated Just like winning 25 games a year. It was approx $147 mil which certainly ain’t chump change and that includes the arena, team offices and state of the art practice facility. $50 mil was donated by the Galen’s both of whom were patients of my wife.
they are good in recruiting, but the Galen Center is so beautiful of a facility,. that i think anybody would want to play there.
I think his staff is weak in coaching strong in recruiting. You cannot get better if you surround yourself with "yes sir" people. Just look at Biden.
It's like the same thing when they play Stanford,. Stanford's starting 5 can match up well with USC, but in my opinion USC has superior depth than Stanford,.. and he just never uses it to his advatage,. He stays with his coaching style,. instead of wearing Stanfords starting 5 down by full court pressing them. Then next thing you know, Stanford wins. I think Enfields a great coach, but I've noticed that about his coaching style in comparison to the elite programs coaches.
I kinda wonder why with all the depth on this current USC team, Andy Enfield did'nt choose to full court press at some point of the game,.. It's like to me, Enfield gets into a coaching box sometimes when against elite teams, and he just does'nt adjust. This game reminded me of the Gonzaga game last year in the tournament, when Gonzaga came out pressing them, and he did'nt adjust,. he just stuck to his game plan,. next thing you know USC's down 20 points in a game that should have been closer in my opinion. It's funny that Arizona's current coach came from Gonzaga,. Anybody else notices that about USC's coaching style,. it just never adjusts when faced with adversity.
As poorly as we shoot and as great as the Cats shot I'm amazed that the margin was only 20 points. We looked lke a tired team. When your misses are "short" it is often a sign of fatigue. I'm taking nothing away from UA that was an Ass kicking. It will make our win over UGLY on saturday sweeter.
Stage is set for Saturday. 2nd place outright. I know last night was a clinic but how easily SC could have 4 more losses. Wash St, Ore St, Ore and even Pacific were all nail biters and they went your way and we aren’t talking about top teams either. It’s not luck when you come through 4 times like that but you have to be grateful.
