I don't know if it's as good as it's ever been, but it's probably as good as it ever will be. I'm not even sure an NCAA championship -- yeah, right -- would improve attendance for more than a year or two. And it certainly wouldn't make SC the top dog in town. Just ask the Clippers, Chargers, Angels, Mets, and Jets.
I didn’t see the game. Was at work. Let me guess drew peterson sucked? Yawn. Again. Rough being right all the time. I called this last year. He’s gonna play in Europe or japan. Can’t handle the ball. Slow. Lanky. Mediocre outside shooter. Poor defender. And tried to play guard. Glad enfield let him. no one else will .
Boogie, boogie, boogie, feast or famine. USC football defense. When he is hot, he single-handedly brings down UCLA in one 1/2. When he has not USC is making golf and fishing plans one day into the tournament.
Think Enfield's seat is gonna start warming up. Recruiting has improved, but serious gaps in his approach to coaching. Not sure where usc could go after him though. Tim Floyd was the best coach they've had in recent history but he got thrown under the bus to try to assuage the ncaa. Should have known that was going to be pointless.
The guy was head coach at 5 high-profile universities--Marquette, Tennessee, Northwestern, Arizona, and SC--over 16 seasons. And even if you give him credit for the games he won at Arizona that later were forfeited, he finished 25 games under .500 for his career. That's a monumental accomplishment.
Hauser 17 pts, Boogie 6 pts. MSU 25 free throws to 8 for SC sure doesn’t help.
Hard to understand why SC didn’t continue to attack inside like the 1st half when they came back from a double digit deficit to tie the game at 34? They had Morgan rolling for a while.
MSU is pretty good defensively and Izzo‘s teams are tough come tournament time.
Those 7 vs. 10 and 8 vs. 9 games are always tough. MSU was a tough draw for USC. That's why it's so important to get a #4 seed or better; you really improve your chances of moving past the first round.
USC could help their cause immensely by scheduling tough OOC games and not losing to absolute stiffs in the regular season. That's why the regular season is so important and the conference tournament is a waste of time. The people who come up with the NCAA brackets pay far more attention to the former and don't really give a shit about the latter. It's all about quad 1 wins and losses.
Well… here is Andy’s comment regarding the offense after the game.

man, pathetic......
Moment was too big for Boogie. Just 6 points, 3-12 including 0-3 from 3 point country.

Early birds get the good tee times.
