Tuned in last night to see you guys have a record of 8-12 (now 8-13)??
Don't get it. You guys have great talent....and some legendary blood lines: Rodman, James. If Kobe had had a son, he'd undoubtedly be playing at Galen right now as well.
What the heck happened?? This sort of goes for UCLA too. I know for a fact that B1G teams are licking their chops right about now with the strongest p12 teams (Arizona, Utah, Colorado) going over to the B12....THAT will become the superconference for basketball.
The last of Haden's Foley...
Hayseed needs to go.
It's like duck football. Bunch of me me talented individuals and an overrated coach. sc
The B1G sucks in basketball. I'm not worried. UCLA will be back. USC, maybe not so much.
By the way, fuck Utah and Colorado. They're enjoying an atypical year in basketball and will soon return to being corpses.
It boggles the mind. I thought SC would be a contender this year. Galen is a nice facility, holy hell SC spent a lot of money getting them out of the sports arena. SC made the commitment. But they seem too focused on 'name brand' players that will only stick around for a year or so. Maybe therein lies the problem. Regardless of talent, I don't think you'd see James, etc. going to the desert to play ball. They had great stats against UO in the first half, leads me to belive player motivation (with a couple exceptions) is a factor.
How many times have I posted this over the years?
USC basketball is 2 steps forward. 3 steps back.
Fire the coach. Rinse and repeat
Quit on an arena a block away so you can bike your own across the street?
Rinse and repeat.
Get the nations top recruit and top 3 ranked recruiting class?
Rinse and repeat
I'd have to say the jury is still out regarding UCLA since you mentioned them too. They have really become a different team since the Utah disaster winning 4 out of their last 5, and Cronin is coaching his ass off. Let's see what happens tonight against the Ducks.
Overated recruits. Bronny was never a top recruit. Solid player but not elite. He will still get drafted because he will sell tickets . I doubt he starts, but if the fans show up for him he will.
Regarding the Ducks, I never seen so many injuries the past two years. These kids are young. There shouldn't be any injuries outside a sprained ankle and a rare ACL.
usc only values recruiting. Coaching up the talent and being able to make in-game adjustments never enter their radar.
Enfield has maxed out. Generally going out in the first round of march madness. not much of a legacy.
