I realize that doesn't mean he won't have an NBA career, and there are only, what, two rounds in the draft? Still, it seems surprising that no team would draft the guy based on his experience and potential. Yeah, he did tend to travel, and he was probably a little overrated for Gonfaga. But the guy was really good, he had a soft touch around the basket, and he was an excellent long-range shooter for a big man. Honestly, I thought he was every bit as good as Jaquez, who was drafted at #18.
Was it lack of defense for Timme? Was he too white? WTF?
Timme travelled more than Anthony Bourdain. Without that move he was average.
tweener. Plays like a big but he's not a big in the nba
Doesnt play D
And he cant jump
Not sure how he shoots 3?
He should be able to hang around as an irritant, greying the lines of decorum and fair play to hang on. I'm thinking like a Laimbeer type.
That is a suprise. Like you said Timme was very good and about the only thing I can come up with is he traveled a lot and it was hardly called in college but maybe the NBA is a different story.
In all seriousness I don't have a clue but happy for him that Milwaukee signed him to an exhibit 10 deal. The guy deserves a chance for sure.
