I may start watching when someone has a tip-slam in a game.
I just don't see the entertainment value. The game is played well below the rim and they use a smaller ball just so they can control it with their hands.
In the 80s, SC tried to promote the women's team by letting them play in the Sports Arena just before the men's game. I went to several. One was an SC-UCLA game when SC had the McGee twins and UCLA was highly ranked. The game ended something like 87-85 so you'd think it would have been highly entertaining, right? Wrong.
You're right about your high school team. Mine had a four no-names about 6-2 and a 10th grader named Sidney Wicks. That team would beat the best women's team you could put together today.
I never ever thought I would watch and enjoy a women’s game but I am fascinated by Caitlyn Clark. Can she play with the boys, no no no but I can appreciate her ability particularly her passing ability. And the fact that she pisses off so many women, by being white, cute, straight and Christian makes me pull for her.
Sounds a lot like my new contract at work.
I got a $50 million contract. You read that right. Fifty million.
$50 a year for a million years. The annuity to fund the contract cost $127.50.
Caitlin Clark should get 10% of this deal
