Zags beat the baby blues by 20 last year. Similar rosters on both

4 UCLA starters played with the Flu in that game. They won’t use that as an excuse but I know it was a factor. Zags this year are very good ,fundamentally sound and do a great job of moving the ball around. Without Jaylen Clark it will be tough for Ucla defending all those weapons but I think they have a good shot. They have two weapons missing from last year which I won’t mention in case Few reads my post.

I don't think this year's Gonzaga team is nearly as talented as last year's team, and certainly not as much as the 2020-21 team that went to the national title game. But they are still very dangerous, and I think the key is Timme. If UCLA can limit him and make the guards have to produce the bigger share of points, then the Bruins have a good shot.

What happened last year or the year before means squat.

Go Zags. This is their weakest team since Timme arrived. No Holmgren and underwhelming guard play by recent comparison, but they can shoot it pretty well. It would be funny if this team took the title, the only recent one without expectations.
