this is why a few of us told the board what would happen before the game... You ain't competing with the top teams in country without Riley... UCLA doesn't have any good bigs outside of Riley... if you thought UCLA would win, you probably don't know basketball
@Pasadena Trojan Bruins were out of it early after falling behind by so much. They played much better in the second half, but against a team that good, you're not going to make up that much ground.
I expect them to learn from this, particularly that you better match or exceed your opponent's intensity from the opening tip-off, or else you're going to get buried. Cronin knows this, he'll drive it home.
As usual, the sweat grenades over on the BRO premium hoops board are overreacting, not unlike USC football fans after a tough loss. It's early, and people are already wetting themselves over possible seedings in March.
@Waldorf Cronin's bruins have historically gotten better as the year progresses. One November loss to the consensus number one team in the year at this point in the season is definitely an over reaction. This isn't college football where an early loss can keep you out of the playoffs.
Yeah, that was a mismatch. Getting back Riley will help, but losing Etienne is going to hurt down the stretch. I'm sure Cronin will use this loss as a big learning tool, he usually does.
Wait until you faj's see the '21/22 Cats, bigger and more athletic.

Yea it is that simple 3 pt shots Zags 40% UCLA 16% and all good looks. The better team won tonight but this is only November.
Not quite that simple
Length & athleticism help you play Defense.
Zags made plenty of mistakes too.
Still a blowout
Shooting 27% didn’t help
