Sour grapes from Stalin ? maybe not, but I do wonder where they got the money for Dante at ucly. (Spare us the tired claim that it was not about money in that one. ) Since ucly alums and fans are notoriously niggardly, a proven fact, where did ucly get that honey trap?
Yup...Coaches tell Uncle who they want and he writes the check and starts negotiating...when the deal is done they start bragging about how good ther recruiting is....as I said a few moths ago Oregon cash flow will rules the west in recruiting,,,
LOL. Losing Moore stung for sure. But it was not unexpected with the loss of Dilly to ASU.
But not a bad deal overall, trading a 5-star, can't miss QB for another year of a Heisman-caliber QB plus a 4* HS recruit who buys into our OC (like Moore did with Dilly).
And then to mostly clean up today, it's not the worst way to end a December.
The fact that we're even having this conversation proves how upside-down the whole college football landscape has become. Before, payola was something that had to be hidden, now it's so out in the open nobody even blinks an eye.
I actually smell a little bit of desperation from the Ducks and, no, that's not sour grapes. They've been recruiting at a very high level for many years, so this is nothing new. But they also know the Pac 12 is soon going to be an afterthought. So, they're going to have to be scary good to continue to be noticed. Gotta give 'em credit, they're putting their money where their mouth is.

You guys are the P12s version of A&M
I bet you’re feeling a lot better than a couple days ago.
Looks like losing Moore pissed off the Ducks and lit a fire under their collective ass.
"Uncle Phil! Open your fucking wallet!"
