My best buddy, high school teammate Roosevelt Noble was the WSU safety that got beat on that 2 pt conversion. He ended up being a cop in San Jose for his career. Never could let that go.

Absolute classic. I was leaping around my living room shouting at my 19 inch TV or whatever. Got married that fall. Missed the tie. UCLA 10 10. We all see what a mess Todd made of his life but forget he provided some unreal moments in his two years. That drive ranks up there with the ND one in 2005

Same here. Those two 4th down plays deep in our territory almost killed me. I had total confidence on the two point conversion after the magic of the td drive. The game was Sept 30, 1989. I got married September 01. I dated my wife 5 years so by this point she knew USC football was my #1 priority on Saturdays, so me jumping around the house was no surprise to her. She knew what she was getting into. I got married on a Friday.😂
