There are a few ways to disguise favorable calls. And as a ref, you don’t want to do it on most scoring plays (attempted fg included). But the zebras decided to go with it. They call an offsides on Carl’s defense. The problem is every Cal lineman was well off/behind the ball, and not a single player even moved before the snap. Never seen anything like that before.
Did it cost Cal the game. It absolutely did. And I’m no fan of Kal, but this shit made me sick to my stomach. If ESPN doesn’t expose this tonight on there cfb shows, they’re just a much a pos as those refs on the take.
Well look what we have here. ACC official who called the phantom offsides call in the Cal/ND game was SUSPENDED. Apology issued to Kal.…. “sorry we stole the W away from you. Dinner on us the next time you come east.”
Unless the camera angle was exactly down the line and not off by even a fraction of an angle, there’s no way a tv viewer could make that determination. The ref had a perfect view, not a distorted one.
Why didn't CAL challenge the penalty call? Maybe Cal shared the money with the refs.
At least 3 Rose Bowl berths were stolen from UCLA by Refs who were probably paid off or die hard Trojan supporter. So, stop your complaining about ND. Go beat them for once if you don’t like it.
the Big 10 knows...there is no such thing as ucly penis envy
Cry on bitches..the dog ate my homework..you aholes should suck off queer clem to release your tension..the jisim queen
That was not the first time that happened.
In 2009, UW lost @ND in OT, however, UW scored a TD late in the game to make it 31-22 to put UW up by 2 scores. It was a close call at the goal line and the ref signaled TD.
After 'review' the call was reversed and UW turned it over on downs.
In the days to follow, the replay camera was found to be 5 yards deep in the endzone so folks with a marginal amount of trigonometry knowledge and using technology to put the camera at the goal line, it was obvious the ball had clearly crossed the goal line.
Seeing as how the ref initially signaled TD, I have always heard they need 'clear and conclusive' evidence to overturn a call. It was proven that there could not have been 'clear and conclusive' evidence to overturn the call but the refs gave ND the game anyway.
If ND wants USC ...join the Big 10...otherwise go screw themselves
You must not watch many games in that dump south bend.
its 10 points a game built in . sc
That home cooking has been going on forever in South Bend. Refs couldn't allow ND to go 0-3.
