Positives for 2024 there are some. The tackling improved 1000000000%. For the most part the defense knew where they were supposed to line up and there were way less blown coverages. Penalties were less though I don’t have the raw numbers on it, but it feels that way. We have 2 studs at WR, I was worried going into the season we had just a bunch of guys and not a true alpha, but it looks like we have 2. Our punter is actually the best player on the team. The DL has a ton of athleticism but it’s gonna take another season plus to get to 2005 to 2012 DL skill and depth.

tackling was excellent vs LSU and then slacked off. We all know why.
WRs were fine except for how they tried to use branch, and that caused the issues. Losing Hudson is bad, as I think he is a stud. Duce had a lot of drops, but also a lot of big plays. He would be a terror as a seam route TE, but he doesn't want to block. If he makes it to the NFL, it will be as a TE, so he needs to wake up and take one for whatever team he lands. I was hoping to see more of him on the baseball team, whom I think finally has a real baseball coach. c'est la vie.
Branch is not a wr. He's really only good in the return game. I won't be surprised if he explodes at his new school, but it will be as akick returner. Funny how Riley forced the ball to him all season and only then they decide he's not worth the money he wanted. Who the F is making the decisions here?
