Thank you for proving. Along with Indiana. That the playoff is at least 4 teams too big and that smu and anyone else from the acc and big 12 is likely a step behind
SMUs QB sucks. He’s an athlete playing QB. Just flings the ball wherever. He’s cost them 28 points. The 3 INTs . Missed TD throw where he had an easy first down running.
I prefer having more conferences represented. I don't want this to be an SEC/B1G pageant.
That said, I agree with you, these need to be neutral site games. The old bowl format needs to be utilized. Weather should not be a determing factor. A team from Dallas playing in central PA this time of year is not the making for a competetive game.
If a college football playoff game is relegated to TNT just like Tuesday night random NBA basketball then you have made the playoff too big. Watered it down too much. And no one’s paying any attention until it gets to ESPN or network TV.
If it’s not big enough to be on one of the five main channels, it probably shouldn’t be happening if it’s being billed as something as big as a college football playoff

Just like Indiana they beat no one.
These games are awful, neutral sites might have made the games more interesting.
