38 yards. I thought hoped Philly would win

But not for the most scientific reasons.

Hoped they’d win because I was tired of the chiefs. Just like we all got tired of tom Brady. Just tired of seeing KC everywhere and all the magical long time chiefs fans. Sure.

I thought Philly would win because they had a better run game with Barkley over the chiefs. And I felt the nfc with Minnesota and Detroit had 3 great teams and two in LA and Washington that really got hot. So eagles emerging from all that was impressive.

Thought the chiefs got more than a few breaks.

No way did I see the Eagle defense just dominating a ball of fame legendary qb. Wow. What a story this Eagle defense is. They’re the mvp and isn’t not even close

Additionally it’s hard to sustain excellence in pro sports as players all want to cashing. Coaches too. And these chiefs have been amazing for 6 years. 5 super bowls.

So hopefully that run comes to an end and someone else has a chance to wear the crown.

Mahomes had a very bad 1st half = 0 pts, pick 6. His passes were off target. In Mahomes defense, I saw 3 to 4 drop passes. Bad on his receivers gotta catch the passes. He played much better 2nd half = 22 pts. Stats: Pass 21/32, 66% not bad, 257 yds, 3 TD's, 2 IT bad. Rush. 4 = 25 yds Dang, Philly front 4 harrassed him all night with 6 sacks.

Hurts played well. Stats. Pass 17/22, 77% xlent, 221 yds, 2 TD, 1 IT he's human. Rush 11 = 72 yds, his running killed KC and moved the chains. Shoot, he has A+ legs. Hurts throws a very nice ball, tight spirals, perfect velocity. Philly has one of the best QB's in the NFL. Dang, he benefits with an A+, huge OL, 6-6, 340 lbs avg.

Philly dominated the game on O & D. Philly front 4 = A+, LB's = A, secondary = A, great D. KC was off their game, but their D front 7 played well. Shutting down Philly run game (RB Barkley). Cheers

PS. High scoring games are good for viewership. I bet the international fans liked this game a lot...

Most of Mahomes numbers were in garbage time. Once it was 24-0 the final 21 minutes or so were all garbage time.

The Eagles are winning because of their overwhelmingly strong OL and DL. This game was won in the trenches (like most of them are).

But eagles hit enough big plays. Hurts really won with his legs and they used Barkley on screens.

And that D. Just kept giving the call back to hurts. And 3 turnovers. One a pick 6 and one in the red zone. Just killed.

again. All hail to their D. I don’t watch enough pro football to realize they’ve been good all year. Great story in an era where qbs and offense are practically handed points
