The day after a loss really sucks. Before the inter webs I would go get my three, and at times 4 newspapers from the driveway, get rid of the sports pages and read on. Man I was a sucker for those newspapers sales calls, they refused to let me cancel 😂.
Great day yesterday on campus and at the Coliseum. 12 of us including my two teenage boys and 5 of their friends. Thank goodness tix were reasonably priced or I might have had to sell some stock to afford them.
What a blast. We walked behind the band to the Coliseum , full of optimism . Following Brads advice we kicked the fawk out of the pole as we crossed Exposition, checked that box. We kept the team in the game for three quarters. We left our voices there. I thought our players fought hard. Sadly, we can see the glaring deficiencies in our D line and LB. OL has improved as the season progressed. I disagree with the dark vibe on the board about the future , although I certainly understand it. It’s a tough morning. The biggest reason for my optimism is that all the signs are there that we have improved our nil game. I like our staff. Turns out Riley isn’t as polished as we first thought he was.Further ahead on the learning curve than Sark or Kiffin at the same time in their careers, but needs more time.
Remember the,” Anyone is better than Helton crowd ”? They’re the ones crying the loudest again. Have we learned nothing?
Oh , visiting Los Angeles and the Coliseum is perfectly safe.
This guy visited and we are making him a significant nil offer to flip.
Folsom is our rival and he is the real deal. Men among boys. He is massive but he can also move. I kept thinking we can’t let Texas get this guy out of Cali…
