And the future.
At the time the mantra was that Miller Moss would head to the NFL after this year, another product of the CLR QB factory.
Jaiden Maiva would be the starter next year and JuJu Lewis would back him up.
Lewis is headed to his second Colorado visit after seemingly whoring himself to every available program who would host him. I am not the only one feeling like he is waiting for someone to come up with the Bigge$t offer.
To me, Lewi$ smells like that guy who came to USC from ATM and collected NIL for a semester and then bailed before doing anything. Went right back to the SEC. or the Georgia defensive recruits who were USC commits for 30-45 minutes.
Here's something to legit speculate about. What happens if.
Miller Moss does not go to the NFL. And BTW, he won't. His turnover rate is abysmal. The blocked pass rate is embarrassing, and the TD run he made caused me to rethink all the runs I was begging for all year. Fast he is not. I might be able to race that kid today.
So Miller comes back.
Jaiden Maiva quits as he probably should with this little chance being given to play. Goes somewhere else Either during bowl season or after spring ball when he realizes competition is a sham.
Ju Ju Lewis is equally perplexed that at the end of Spring practice he is not elected to the USC hall of fame, nor given the starting job. He gets homesick. Thanks USC for the $300,000 spring break, and transfers to Georgia to be ready for the fall season. If he ever comes at all.
USC is sitting with Miller Moss, 5th year QB in the spring, and no one else. And likely a commit from Ryder Lyons, who won't be at USC until the fall of 2027.
Possible? Probable? Fanciful?
I see miller hitting the portal. If Lane Kiffin stays at Ole Miss, I see him landing there.
MM doesn't fit Riley's half assed scheme and he's not getting any coaching to speak of. He's regressing and I'm sure he's aware of it. He has one season left if he wants to make it to the NFL/CFL, and staying at USC wastes whatever opportunities he might have.
