seriously recruiting the Portal until after Spring Ball where the next wave of transfers will come from. Only serious recruiting for 2022 HS kids is Connerly. But they did say USC will be looking for a couple more interior linemen on both offense and defense possibly one edge rusher as well as two Lbers, one inside and one outside. Of course that could change since the are down to two QB's and they were told Safety Palomalo(sp) will not be returning which will make for a very young and inexperienced secondary...

Groots could play. His heart and skills played at 235lbs and 4.5 speed.
Pola Mao was usually out of position down the seem. Some guys have the speed but not the instincts to play the game. Matt Grotegood had the instincts but not the speed.
Pola Mao is no Hufunga. Does not have great instincts, a major disappointment. Though it might be better to have him in '22 than not. He has experience.
