Thats an amazingly stupid post. UCLA was losing well before, during and after covid. As posted here previously, the UCLA athletic department has been "borrowing" form academic programs for years.

"UCLA’s athletic department racked up $102.8 million in debt over the last three fiscal years, potentially forcing it to cut Olympic sports programs altogether.

• The school has 25 teams and more than 700 athletes.

Where is your facts about USC and deficits? As a private school...they are not public. Deficits likely during COVID for every D-1 schools with "0" gate revenues. UCLA draws "0" for home games as late as last season....when the Brunes were GIVING AWAY TICKETS HOPING THAT THE POPCORN, SOFT DRINKS AND PEANUTS WOULD "ADD UP". USC drew crowds when crowds were draw-able....
