The dirty little secret about college fb is that UCLA and USC were running huge deficits of multiple tens of millions during covid and needed to go to the big 10.
Thats an amazingly stupid post. UCLA was losing well before, during and after covid. As posted here previously, the UCLA athletic department has been "borrowing" form academic programs for years.
"UCLA’s athletic department racked up $102.8 million in debt over the last three fiscal years, potentially forcing it to cut Olympic sports programs altogether.
The school has 25 teams and more than 700 athletes.
It’s unclear how many teams would have been affected or when.
The sham known as Covid was tough on everyone. It is just CA throws so much money down the toilet more that anyone else, it just feels like CA suffered worse.
Different places handled it differently., south OC was what a friend from the bay area called, the" wild wild west". javiers and other places were business-as-usual, but In LA the marxists kept a tight lid on everything.
I cited Ahead News. If all the usc info you get is from usc fan sites, you would never know about the deficits. You are no different than Democrats who, to this day, have never heard of Hunter Biden's laptop.
Where is your facts about USC and deficits? As a private school...they are not public. Deficits likely during COVID for every D-1 schools with "0" gate revenues. UCLA draws "0" for home games as late as last season....when the Brunes were GIVING AWAY TICKETS HOPING THAT THE POPCORN, SOFT DRINKS AND PEANUTS WOULD "ADD UP". USC drew crowds when crowds were draw-able....

endowment
does ugly even have one?
if so, obviously you don't understand orders of magnitude
tens of millions is just noise for schools with a decent endowment

Per Troy Aikman last (2022) season...."this is an embarrassment"

None of these problems would exist if it weren't for Title 9.
Too bad the Beavs and WSU just rebuilt their Stadiums. Time to drop football and most the other sports
Join the Big West and have about ten total teams. 5 girls. 5 boys.
No one is gonna notice.
