I was before I went there. I was when I was there. And although moving woke, it's still all about MONEY
So how much money did USC make yesterday? I wondered so I searched how much is a Heisman worth to a school.
If it was worth 250 million to Baylor ten years ago. Thanks to Bidenflation and it's USC working the levers, it's got to be worth a lot more, perhaps close to half a billion for the University. Few fundraise and market better than USC. Remember USC is an international brand.
Hope Caleb gets a small piece of that, and it looks like his handlers are working on it. Caleb throws a touch down. commercial break, Caleb sells you chunky campbells soup. Good for him.
Would love to see USC be SMART and invest some of that windfall into it's own NIL to promote it's own cash cow. USC has also been cheap on spending. Not a time to be cheap.
USC now uses BLVD.
ps. How much is the trophy itself worth?
Does the Heisman Trophy have any monetary value?
The Downtown Athletic Club does not say how much it costs to make a Heisman Trophy or if it has a defined price, but it is estimated that the trophy can be worth between $100,000 and $200,000.
A proof of the Heisman Trophy value was during a recent sale when Charles White's 1979 trophy sold once for $184,000 and a second time for $300,000.
It's a TV show. It's a bidness. And if anyone can monetize it, it's USC.
So, the money... You must have applied, but was not been admitted to USC. I applied, did not have the money, was admitted and USC provided the money for me to gladly go to University there.
Yea, the money ! JLA - SC ‘80
SC after looking at that thread about Caleb winning it appears that the general public hates USC so much that they wanted anybody but Caleb. which means CW really was the best and most deserving of all the candidates. He earned it on the field
screw the USC haters
I hate to break it to you but your comments apply to every other high profile school in the country. I doubt any school in the country cares more about money than the elite schools with huge endorsements IE Stanford and the Ivy League schools. USC is just more visible in making because of the football program than the others. Our hands might not be clean but neither are theirs.
