....and headed towards a clash of the titans on October 14th at Montlake. Two great rivals, two Top 10 teams, and a date with destiny; this is what college football is all about!
Similarly, the same can be said of USC v ND on October 14th (provided both win next week).
It will take a superb defensive performance to beat the Pups at home this season. Will be great to use this as a barometer for how far Oregon has come, and how far they still need to go, defensively.
As I've said and will continue to say, it's all about defense this year in the offensive pac. Whoever has the best defense will win the conference. Period.
Oregon took a long time to get going on Saturday vs the Trees, but then ended up with the same score as the Colorado game: 42-6. Just got there in a completely different way. If Oregon starts out slow like that vs UW, it will be over at halftime.
BTW I don't know if USC/Colorado told us all that much honestly. Colorado has an amazing offense, especially at home. That game if at the Coliseum ends up around 56-13 most likely. Still very worried about that match up at Autzen on 11/11. Caleb is Caleb.
UPDATE ON GBjr: For those playing at home, the GBjr stat tracker lists him currently as Oregon's #2 WR behind Troy Franklin. So diss us all you like, but we quacks still feel gratitude towards you Trojans is appropriate. 🙂
Lol, good post LAD. Some good games coming up. GB had 50 yardsreceiving yesterday by the way. How can we ever hope to replace that production?
Undefeated Louisville gets ND at home this week. I see that game as a toss up. No cakewalk for ND. Brohm can coach. He had Purdue as relevant.
