Not just the already won thing.
The unfinished NFL business thing
The NCAA coming for him thing
The middle finger at UM for knocking down his contract thing
Apparently Michigan's recruiting has slipped. 15-20 ranked the last two years. And stop if you've heard this before USC fans. Michigan people blame the lack of NIL. nNot sure how Ohio State has more NIL than UM. Both are large Universities with long histories. Both at public schools with maybe not the most affluent fan base, but both are large and have huge crowds.
Either way, Harbaugh is looking to get out of Dodge because the talent level to follow isn't what it was and he knows it.
Not the most affluent fan base? Please.
They're two of the largest universities in America. They probably create 30,000 new graduates every year. And if you pick any large school at random you can find 100-200 fans among their alums who could singlehandedly fund a competitive NIL program.
Any school that isn't competitive in NIL lacks the will, not the way.
Michigan's recruiting has slipped because Harbaugh has been rumored to be leaving for the last couple years. He interviewed for the Vikings job last year, and the Chargers job this year. sc
NFL has a snag...word is his contract with Michigan to get him has some things in it they don't like
Michigan had a big decommitment yesterday. Could be nothing or it could be the coach of the Michigan Astros is moving on and it's leaking out.
