Don’t see this working out for Sam.
But it is a 3 year window and they get a young QB starting his 3rd year in NFL.
Issue is Sam doesn’t suck and will play you out of a top 3 pick.

Comparative numbers say Sam is worth 4 years $160 million. With a strong likelihood of the team cutting him after 2 and him collection about 80-100 of it.
Problem is when I see all the teams he could go to? The numbers don’t add up to that. It’s more like 10-20mil on a one year deal. I’d really hope Minnesota changes their mind but I think they’re operating as I told you I would a few weeks ago. Not with this situation. Just in general. Build the best team you can all around and find an affordable game manager to qb.
I would be surprised if Stafford went to the Giants. At this stage of his career he wants to at least be in the hunt for the playoffs.
This makes way more sense
