OK, Pasadena here are 3 AA list. Come on now why are U so cynical towards Cali players? You should know better Calif boy. For almost 100 years of HS football, Calif has produced elite and very good players. Blue Blood College teams were filled with Cali top players: USC, USC, UDub, Stanford, Cal, OU, Colorado, Texas, Nebraska, Mich St, Notre Dame, etc. See 3 of the top AA lists below.
T-Mac, Tetairoa McMillian 5* Wr, Zona, originally from Hawaii, family moved to S. Calif in 8th grade, played at Servite HS. Looks like they moved back to Hawaii? USC and all the big schools went all in for him, but he followed his best friend, QB Fafita to Zona. Incredible hands, body control, leaping ability, but only average speed (est 11.5 100m). Played volleyball and some basketball, very athletic Bruddah. Top 10 CIF Wr's ever.
Carson Schwesinger, 3* LB, UCLA, Oaks Christian HS, from Moorpark, Ca. 3* rated, All Marmonte League, but hardly recruited, walked on UCLA. No question deserves AA. Amazing & impressive story.
Nick Nash, 3* Wr, San Jose St, from Irvine and Woodbridge HS, made All League as QB. Little offers. At SJ St makes the transition to Wr and becomes AA, amazing. Very talented & athletic dude. 2023, played well vs USC, 6 rec, 90 yds, 3 TD.
Cam Skattebo, 3 * RB, ASU, from Rio Linda, Sacramento, Jr season ran = 3,550 yds, 45 TD's, crazy stats. Got hurt in Sr season, so his Sr stats were average. 3*, League's Player of the Year, with little offers, played for Sacramento St, went into the TP and ASU was smart to picked him. Classic under the radar player. Dumb college coaches for not seeing his talents as HS RB. Great success story.
What more can we say about DL Mason Graham, All State CIF from Servite HS, but shun USC and UCLA. Dam it. One of the all time best DL in CIF history.
AP. 1st team: 3 O + 2 D = 5, 2nd team: 1 D. Total 6 Calif. players
PT I normally agree with stuff you post, but not this time. So what, No Calif players on this list, hah. Have you thought, these college teams played Fr due to necessity? And, our Calif Fr went to teams that did not need them to play. Hell, Fr RB Nate Frasier, UGA should be on the list, from Mater Dei, Calif. He did well at UGA running against SEC D's. This type of list is pretty lame.
One must look at season ending AA list as the best indicator. I bet you will see Calif players as AA. And, the list I put up, NFL players per states. Calif was # 3 = 168 and not far behing Florida # 2 = 176 and Texas # 1 = 190, Georgia # 4 = 146 players in NFL.
OK Pasadena, what national ranked teams nation wide have beaten Mater Dei or St John Bosco in the last 10 yrs? Nada. In fact, most of the time MD and SJB whipped them. Add, Bishop Gorman, Las Vegas is undefeated as well. Fact, MD & SJB (Calif) & BG (Nv) in the last 20 yrs have won 95% of the National HS FB titles per Maxprep.
I'll stand by statement, I'll put our Calif and West Coast boys with any of the other states. Nah, Calif HS and boys play A+ FB. Plus, they are very talented, fast, + A+ skills (QB's & Wr's). We may lack in numbers for OL & DL, but have some very good players... Cheers.
Lots of valid points 👍 and I will def check out the real AA list.
The MD SJB and even BG dominance is interesting. Because they actually play very legit schedules. They go to IMG, texas and others big names And they usually kick some Butt.
But then the MD SJB and BG stars sort of bomb in college. JT Daniels. Raleek Brown. Bru McCoy. Josh Rosen. Sean Grady. Tate Martell. Paleotooe Gaetoteo (LBer from BG). Zachariah Branch. Hard to explain?? Very.
JT Daniels would have been successful at UGA, but C. Smart did not like him. Fact, he was 7-0 as a starter but got demoted (why). He transferred to W. Vrginia bad team and move. His last team, Rice he was ranked # 11 QB's stats before a season ending injury 8 games into the season.
Huh, QB Josh Rosen did very well at UCLA. He got drafted high in the NFL but yeah did not do well.
Bru McCoy is doing well at Tennessee.
Here are 2 lists that proves Calif produces mucho A+ FB players. Brah, I do not understand your stance, you're a Calif boy? After viewing these lists, do you still think Calif does not produce top FB talent?

Answer is no.
Florida domintated. 2-3 IMG academy kids. No Mater Dei ones?
Then Georgia.
Then Texas.
Then Alabama.
No oregon, nevada or arizona either.
