anybody got any idea why Rice is dropping?

He was supposed to go 4th rd. He's nearing the end of the 6th. I would have guessed he would have gone by now on his name alone.

Maybe should have stayed at CU and been the prime target there.

I’m not usually a big homer cheer cheer guy but this is a mistake. This guy is a 2nd round talent for sure. Good hands. Good routes. Good physicality. Pretty good speed.

This is a quality wr and I wish Denver had taken him Little surprised the rams with their success with nua last year did not. Maybe they feel with nua and cup their cupboard is full. See what I did there? Lol

Only thing I can think of is he has a case of the dropsies at times. TEE’s telling me this only proves Oregon had “way more talent” at WR than USC. USC’s WRs wouldn’t have made Oregon’s practice squad. 😂

I think the overall knock is that he's a tweener. Not a burner and not really physical per se. So if that's the case for a WR they have to catch everything and run super crisp routes.

personally I think he's got NFL WR2 talent on the right team, but last year's WR crew dropped off considerably for SC and his drops didn't help. He doesn't stand out in any category. Work ethic is not an issue, it's not being able to stand out from the crowd.
