I have never heard of that have you?

Have you ever heard of BOTH coached being fired immediately after their teams played each other?

OK, maybe last game of season when both had bad years.

How about when it's NOT the last game of the season?

I mean, a blowout so bad that BOTH coaches get sacked?

How can no one be talkign about this?

Can anyone else possibly think of this ever happening before?

Stuff like this amuses me.

Maybe the problem at Texas A &M is not Jimbo but Texas A&M itself. They are and will remain a B program not an A program . If money could buy an A program thy would be an A program although Oregon has bought an A program. So it can be done.

that about UsC a lot. Them getting a good solid coach is the exception rather than the rule. Places like boise oregon and even purdue seem to always produce solid coaches. Even oregon state. Think of them. Smith. Riley. Dennis Erickson. At oregon freaking state?

I think a lot of it has to do with the transfer portal. Apparently it opens up on December 4th. It's getting to be too late to fire a coach at the end of the season.

It seems like a stretch that any program would be able to get a new coach lined up before December 4th, but I suppose we'll see. But it's very important when you talk about kids transferring out; a lot of them are going to bail unless they have a reason for sticking around, and one of those reasons may be a new coach that they think offers some stability and hope.
