I assume the punk you're talking about is Sanders. And, yes, laying a finger on an official in any sport had always been automatic ejection. To not get ejected is absurd.
But I'm just curious if the hit in that clip produced a penalty, and whether or not Sanders was injured or continued to play.
I saw the play live. Yes, definitely a penalty. Also saw Sanders shove ref from behind. Should’ve been booted. If he ever does that in the nfl, he’ll be suspended and heavily fined.
