So true LA. It's great to touch base with you again. I went to the SC/Oregon games at Autzen 3 times. Autzen is such a great venue. In my view, you ducks have a tremendous home field advantage there. I made one trip to Reser Stadium when Bush, White and Leinart were on the SC team. It was in 30 degree weather and foggy. I sat on the metal benches in the end zone. BRRRRR. All the action though, was on the far endzone. SC won, and some OSU fans threw eggs at our busses on the way out. LOL! Most of their fans though were very cordial.

2001 it was.

I wasn't there but I clearly recall the game. First game after 9/11. Oregon was ranked in the Top 10. SC fell behind by 2 TDs, then had two really long pass plays for TDs and a field goal to take the lead. Oregon won it on a last-second field goal.

That was the first time I allowed myself to think that Pete Carroll had a plan to turn things around. SC played a similar game, same outcome, at Washington a couple weeks later. And after that the team started winning -- with Sonny Byrd at tailback.
