Great QBs no doubt. Riley gets a lot of credit. What a run. But he peaked out with his playoff appearances at Oklahoma. He won't make the playoffs at SC this or next year. Likely never.

Hard to know what really went down.

It feels Ike college will be the NFL with the old conference structure and names tossed aside. I've seen hypothetical 48, 40, 36 or 32 team leagues. Will be strange to see college teams with 3 or 4 losses win the national championship. But that day is coming soon if FSU and Clemson blow up rhe ACC.

Go look at USC and their old trophies for women's sports aren't NCAA. They are like AAU or NAIW or whatever. The NCAA was only this overreaching dominant organization for like the last 60-70years. Was a wildwest in the beginning. Early 1900's Then various schools belong to difference associations. I think money may drive it apart and it becomes that way again. And yeah, like you said, may remind many of pro sports with the conferences.

University of Chicago used to be a power. Wont he first Heisman. Then saw athletics taking over their University and walked away. Bold. Imagine Ohio State doing that. Hahahahahahah totally ridiculous huh?
