think usc has 3 5 stars. got two the day riley came to usc. Maybe all 3. He hasnt recruited a single 5 star to usc I don’t think. Every top player he got was coming to ok then flipped to usc for him. Seriously worried this staff can’t recruit
I do think we can and should credit him for the 3 five stars he did sign. Without a Riley being here they wouldn’t be here. As for the rest let’s just hope that the new regime knows talent. Time will tell on that. Do we count the Arizona wide receiver as a 5 star. Even though we probably have him for only one year.
Yeah. We can’t blame everything on NIL. Ukelele dad did tweet something about this being a business a few days ago but I don’t think the Ukelele kid ever really considered USC. But to your point, this staff has missed often. Mostly on defense. We took a couple of OL from Oregon but on defense, other than Tackett and Shelby, it’s a lot of lower ranked kids. There are still a few targets that haven’t signed, Robinson and Pleasant being two, but USC hasnt capitalized on an 11-2 season and Heisman Trophy. Disappointing day.
