So let's recap. De boer didn't take defensive staff with him and the great Bama d staff didn't stay.

His oc who has been w him forever just cashed in. And went back to Seattle. Explain that to the wife.

I wouldn't doubt it. But think of that. We are going to Bama. 1 month later. We are going back. I mean, did the house even sell? And considering it's the NFL he's only goign to be there 1-3 years anyway. He will get fired or promoted. That league has no attention span.

Your recap is wrong. The best coach on defense was the d-line coach. He stayed. The DC retired. Bama hired a good one. The DB coach came over.

Don't forget, Grubb was only going to be there one year anyway. DeBoer is prepared.

Grubb, Huff (OL) and Shephard (WR) were the 3 assistants I didn't want to lose. Huff is following Grubb but not sure what Shepard is going to do. He was a very good WR coach.

Most likely will promote Shephard. Grubb was only going to be OC 1 year anyway because he's so in demand but it would have been nice to have him for 2024.

It's DeBoer's offense so maybe he'll be the play caller this year.
