I don’t this is a stretch but look at the explosion of chick hoops.

Wanna know why? Because mostly the girls stick around and play 4 years. There are some money whores and will be more now that they’re getting ratings. But. Not as many in the past.

Meanwhile it’s hard to follow mens hoops or football. New team every year. UConn wins with a new team? Impressive. Hard to do. Sadly becoming regular.

So I do think it impacts things. I’m no basketball fan. Well I’m a fair weather fan. Completely. And I gave up on usc 6 -7 games in and glad I did. They sucked and there was no point in investing in some you players because they all leave.

So I think now you’ll see more extremes. Empty arenas. Low ratings. And right before or after? A programs top year and lots of fans. I think everyone is becoming very fickle.

I sponsor my softball team. They ask why. I say because you all cost like $300 for the season. That’s one ticket at a Laker game and you guys actually show up. Try hard. And are far more entertaining than they are. And my $300 covers a whole season of games. Pay sports is a joke. It’s like watching a stage production of wicked or Annie Oakley or Annie get your gun or Annie. Something Annie. Anyway it’s all a show. New season. New cast.

I think woman's college basketball is a flash in the pan this year.

just like woman's soccer after they won the gold years ago. never caught on. All they did was bitch and complain that they weren't getting enough attention.

Woman's basketball is just not a good product to view. Almost all men find it slow and boring.

There are more woman than men in America. If woman starting liking either they wouldn't need the men to care. sc
