Well, I'll be, Mabel....Mr. JTT cancels his Alabama visit hot off the heels of his trip to Eugene...

What could it mean?

Looks like it's a tOSU, Washington, Oregon, USC battle for the #3 DL for 2021 from Washington. He has said he will make his decision by July 4th.

Sounds like Ohio State. I’m not hearing any positive SC noise, nor Oregon. I’m not hearing anyone call it, but the whispers sound like they are saying “Ohio state”. good Luck.

@LA Duck If star ratings gave you the greatest chance at success, then USC, UGA, Ohio St and ND would be winning natty's on a fairly frequent basis. USC can't even make it to the playoffs and UGA has only made it once, iirc.

@mandb You want to use as your PRIME EXAMPLE the one season that was completely FUBAR'd because of COVID? lol....okay....maybe try picking ANY season not under the constraints of very little spring practice plus no real fall practice, and many players opting out, and with only a 4-7 game sample per team (without even a full season for any p12 team). That might be a better comparison than what happened in the most unusual, atypical season in college football history...lol. You continue to crack me up, mandb. 🤣

@ATLBRUIN Don't take my word for it--below is a link to actual research on this issue of how recruit rankings affect success in college football. And attached is a still frame from the findings.... Not to say there aren't outliers, there always are...but in general better recruiting rankings = more success.
