If Curtis came to USC and then doubled down to go to Wiscy solely bc of grinch, the kid has a costco career ahead of him, in more ways than one. Can't believe how USC has miscoached the LBs the last 2 years. The LBs they have put on the field and how they've been coached up doesn't come close to matching the scheme they were trying to play. Curtis would have been better off seeing if the coaching change would suit his talents better, b/c I don't see a bright fuuture following grinch. Maybe grinch goes to the nfl in 2 years and drafts him. Maybe that 's the plan...

Just look d at the usc back 7 and they have some depth.

Lot of familiar names there but many of them. Guys whonoregiouwky started. Are now backups. So not only are they presumably a year better and more experienced. They are now back ups or co starters. I presume that means the new guys are better.

So I think that bodes well on d. They just have to figure a way to recruit better. And obviously play d on the field like they did in the bowl

It's odd scouting a conference team at 9am. Maryland looking ok so far. We play there this year. Atmosphere doesn't look like it will be intimidating. Small stadium, half filled, not a ton of excitement.

yeah, it sucks that the school prezes mismanaged the conference basically from the day they became the pac 10. Tom Hansen was inept; Larry Scott was criminally fraudulent. The schools did nothing to correct these mistakes so I'm left with believing they got what they wanted.

It may have been a baseball move. Neither brought anything for football or basketball (then, that obviously changed), but both had won NCs in baseball and geographically they fit. Phoenix was growing... But yeah, I always wondered what they achieved there. Added nothing academically.
