College football will become the NFL. Gone are the days of 12-0, 11-1 or even 10-2 seasons.

Most weeks will bring some awesome match ups but if will be a war of attrition. SC better get some beef and depth. I suspect the collectives will be fundraising like crazy to keep teams well stocked.

TV stations want a return for their billions in investment. No one wants to see Bama Vs Troy, Michigan vs. Bowling Green, Oregon Vs Portland State. They want attractive match ups.

Very true. It will interesting to see how teams try and get up each week for these matchups. Better have great strength and conditioning programs.

So Ducks only have to travel to SC once through 2028. I can live with that. Ducks get SC at home 3 times including this year. 😂

Most interesting thing is that SC and UCLA don't play both Oregon and Washington every year. Looks like it's a 3-year cycle of one, then the other, then both.

That surprises me I thought they'd make sure usc played ucla uw and uo every year. Maybe neb and iowa too. Then rotate the other 3 to time zones more distant

I assume neb and iowa are about the same distance as uw and uo

they didn't do it? Maybe they wanted to get the new members all exposed all around the conference quickly and then after the novelty dies off shift to a more geographic model. Like. For basketball? How you really plan on having a 16-18 member conference right? Baseball? Will it be like football where you go on the road to say Michigan and msu one year and they visit you the next? USC and ucla play once a year? I mean maybe.
