Bigballss, Dave Aranda would be a great fit at USC

Bigallss rearding our next DC, I think Dave Aranda is our best bet. I think he is the best DC of all you listed and his time at Baylor has not been good plus I believe he has been there 3 years or more. He may conlude that his days are numbered at Baylor and that he is not a good head coach but as DC his record is great. He wil get a top salary as a DC with many less headaches with many tributes.

He's got a paycheck. Much easier to be a consultant for a year and watch film and wait for job offers

He's not gonna get a HC offer. His stay in waco ended like the Branch Davidians. He's gonna have to rebuild his reputation first. Being an analyst isn't going to provide that.

I have no doubt he would have serious interest but the timing isn't right,. Crazy things happen but Baylor eating 6 years of his contract sounds unlikely.
