Leal and Vrij (2008) examined blink rates in liars and truth tellers during and after verbal recall of events and found that liars showed a decrease in blink rate during deception as compared with a baseline period and an increase in blink rate in the period following the telling of the lie.Oct 11, 2013
NO they are not and won't be until July 2025....the game at Norman is 2023...as far as UCLA...for a non-football school they just kicked USC's ass...by the way since both are in the PAC some folks might say neither of them or the others are real football schools...by the way have you looked at USC's home schedule......7 home games , 9 in California and most of the teams they play are PAC teams....
the mighty SEC my ass. They never go to ANYONE's house , play anywhere COLD and demand all cupcakes at HOME. niggah please.
Oh, that's right. Georgia has to TRAVEL to the game too, huh ole hick. Just like they had to TRAVEL to play clemson this year. It's like almost an hour and half drive. That means a pee stop and all kinds of hardship. never mind. sc
For better or worse what this does is give Oregon a puncher's chance in our first game next season. Without a vet like Bo Nix and one who has faced SEC defenses in the past, you can automatically start September off at 0-1 for Oregon. Not to mention it will provide some great competition.
None of our 3 frosh QBs have been under any kind of live fire so far. And Bo Nix and our new OC Dillingham were the ones who took down Oregon in our opening game vs Auburn in Dallas in 2019. So there will be some familiarity there with the offense, most likely, or at least with the OC/QB coach.
I probably would have personally preferred finding a more likable QB in the portal (said the guy who is used to Heisman winner Marcus Mariota's and NFL-star-in-the-making Justin Herbert's congeniality). But he's got the pedigree and if he can get us a W in Georgia, I don't care if he sleeps with my GF. (Ok, maybe I do care, but only a little....lol!)
Oregon plays Georgia in Atlanta in the first game of the 2022 season.
@OldHickoryTrojan FCS transfer QBs have been hit or miss for Oregon the past 7 years. Got a good one in Vernon Adams from EWU. Got a bad one in Dakota Prukop from Montana State (and like Ward he was no slouch--he led the nation in passer rating and had offers from Alabama, Texas, Michigan).
Myself? Give me someone with SEC pedigree. Going against the Houston Baptist Huskies, McNeese Cowboys and Youngstown State Penguins would have really provided tremendous experience when facing the defenses of the Georgia Bulldogs and p12 teams next season. 🙄
LA Duck saw this video I hate this meathead and his holier then thou attitude about the SEC and what he had to say about the PAC..completely forgetting how USC ran roughshod on their so called superiority to the point they didn't want to match up with USC when Pete Carrol eas around and also forgetting that the reason they have most of their elite Football players is because of a John McKay led USC trojan football team into Alabama with an all black starting backfield and knocked them around...but I'm getting off point ..this video states Oregons fans are not happy amoungst some other nasty things about Oregon and their fans...
@OldHickoryTrojan Yep, you called it: This guy is an SEC redneck idiot.
This is pretty much like saying everything TEE says is how most Oregon fans feel. Sure, there are a minority of reactionary fans who worry that Ty Thompson will enter the portal. See his tweet below from Saturday--but it's not likely to happen.
I will completely agree some Oregon fans are not huge supporters of this transfer, but most that I've seen are good just adopting a wait & see attitude.
He's just butt-hurt about the SEC losing Bo Nix to the p12. BTW the Auburn fans I met at the national championship game in 2011 were totally awesome and nothing like this SEC fan who likely didn't have the $$$ to attend the game anyway. I wouldn't give it much credence.
Did you watch his speech on going to the portal? This kid is an A Hole....no wonder the Auburn fans didn't like the guy...good luck to Oregon with this guy...he's ath;letic with a mediocre arm and moderate accuracy from what I've seen...
@the909trojan The kid is all about himself and hasn't shown that he's got what it takes except in his mind...if you watched him read a telepromter to say good bye you would get the idea that he's a phoney...nothing natural or authentic about it....
@OldHickoryTrojan & @66 - the funny thing is that a lot of Oregon fans aren't happy with the news as they want the frosh QB to get the job. At least if you believe Twitter.
Bo Nix.....Know anyone else who's First+Last name is completely spelled with only Five (5) Letters?
Isn't Oklahoma in the SEC now? and ucla has never been a football school and doesn't have their own house.
try again.
how about look at what might bama has scheduled for next year. kind of like this year, and last year, etc.
no TRAVEL to anyone's house. never anywhere cold. all cupcakes at HOME, and then bitch that their fans don't stay for the whole game.
when people LIE, they tend not to blink as much. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dV1e7LQ26hw

in Atlanta? Wow, what a surprise.
