If there is a Book Festival, there will be a lower number of UCLA fans on Saturday. Maybe 20-30% affected. Letting everyone know in advance so nobody questions it. There are usually some topical authors there discussing their latest work (including some Q&A sessions).

Oh, and there are some military funerals. Some WWII guys who died of COVID. Maybe some Vietnam guys. So you'll lose the funny hat crowd.
Hey guys , just confirmed the Festival of Books got moved to April. Great news for Bruin fans hoping to see a semi full student section. However, and not to dampen any spirits, the gay, lesbian transgender party and BBQ is still on for Saturday night. Bring a pack of extra long Dodger dogs for free entry, ahem free entry. . Oh I’m not going , just read the flyers. Don’t get any ideas.
Hey Trojans, books are things you read or in your case, stack up on a chair to sit on so you can reach the keyboard and type stupid posts on the Wild West board.
Bruins can't resist pop-up books!
Omigod.
What else can go wrong for poor Marty Jarmond? So much competition for the entertainment dollar.
I hear there's supposed to be a marijuana giveaway in South El Monte on Saturday. I expect that will depress the size of the UCLA crowd even more than the Book Festival.
And the Dodgers are holding a press conference to announce some new additions to the front office. They always draw a crowd.
And PBS is running a Sesame Street marathon starting at noon. All the young marrieds will stay home to watch that.
And it's supposed to be nice weather for skiing in the local mountains. No skiers at the game.
Let's hope there's not a shortage of tarp to cover the end zone seats so it doesn't look too bad for TV.
what, trying to get on cspan is a higher priority than your perennial "this game will make our season"? Man, AZ left a mark....
