I named three All American great players that played on the same team..how's that for historical? Care to name anything like that for UCLA? I've seen two Bruins posted on this thread and historically that is supposed to make great Safety....I gave you three on the same team...would you like to start a list from both Teams over the years...go ahead I suspect USC would match or exceed that list...Troy Polomanu probably would be mentioned somewhere if we did...

UCLA had numerous All-Americans at safety during that period I listed. Easley and Eric Turner were probably the two best, but there were many more. Don Rogers, James Washington, Shaun Williams, Carlton Gray, Matt Darby, Marques Anderson to name a few off the top of my head. I'm sure there were more. And that's just in the modern era. Jimmy Johnson, who's in the NFL Hall of Fame, was probably the best out of all of them.

I've never been a big fan of Sports Illustrated, but they did call UCLA "Safety U" at one point, FWIW.
