Lots of years still to go...most of those offers are from teams that know nothing about him yet, just want him in their "offer sheet " (along with 200 other guys. ) Maybe he is a Thorpe candidate, maybe not. I know that league well. Know several coaches and both my sons coached in the league. I talk to lots of people about those teams, and this guy's name has never come up. You still never figured out about "commitable offer." Get back to us in 2 years and tell us if he then has a commitable offer from places like Georgia.

Smith chose UCLA over offers from MI, UW, Georgia, OR, TX and ND among others. If Chip was still UCLA's head coach he'd be like "2026? We're barely in 2024 and I'm just trying to have a good Wednesday." Amazing what happens when you actually take the time and energy to extend offers.
