We have many options at LB.
Finding LB's that are run stoppers + fast enough to cover TE's and RB's on passing routes are the objectives. But, it's hard to find the new breed LB's. The air raid and passing O have made the traditional LB's run stoppers types obsolete. Got to find LB's like Groots, Sua and Sammy Knight these guys had the dual skills.
Shaun Scott, Mater Dei is listed as an Edge guy, but he would fit well at OLB and roam the field. This kid has the dual skills... Cheers
Update: USC has reached out to him as have, ATM,UCLA, Oregon, and UNC.

I’m rarely in favor of one year portal rentals. Ever.
This spring is that exception.
USC has a young team. A massive talent infusion coming in 2026 and those kids won’t start eating up scholarships and $ until then.
Meanwhile they need to hire a bunch of help for 2025. Whatever they can. Clear them out by 2026 when those kids need to come in and be the depth chart and perhaps have an occasional starter in the bunch
