Whittingham would never leave Utah for UCLA, regardless of the B1G. Utah has a stronger fanbase (inexplicably) and they've been a better overall program than UCLA in the past 20 years.

All of this talk about replacing Chip is a friggin' pipe dream. He ain't going anywhere. We're stuck with the fat fuck for the forseeable future.

My real pick would be Dillingham. He's going to be a good one.

He did have HC experience. albeit at the NAIA level where he was 67-3. At the time he wasn't on anyone radar but he had more experience than Terry D when he was hired. I think Toledo only had OC experience when hired. KD was a co-OC.

Literally ANY other head coach would have beaten Utah last Saturday, even with Dinty Moore stinking up Don Rickles Stadium. I'm serious. ANY head coach.

Dilly came out with nothing to lose, drawing up plays on the palm of his hand. Its a whole different coaching situation when the pressure of leading a ranked team. Dilly will def be available in a couple of years when Chip is ready to go out.

Coaches are all 'available'. That doesn't mean they are wanted. Or even interested.

Yep. Grinch gets a bad rap. All the guy does is field defenses that win and put up numbers. Another W last Saturday, along with some fantastic defensive stats, especially in the 2nd half. TFL, sacks, etc. Grinch is the brains behind it all. I'd hate to see him go, but it would be a great move for that program.

The D played well in the 2nd half of the 4th Q when ASU became one dimensional and USC knew they had to pass.
