BYU Is Either Hitting the Weight Room or

USC starts the season beating a good SEC team and ended the year bearing another good SEC team. The ONLY place USC needs more bill is the defensive line. Unfortunately those guys don’t grow on trees, but it looks like we have sighted several in the portal. If we can slug it out with current SEC powers, think we are doing ok.

Yeah, most of the LDS players are 24 to 27 years old. They are grown men. After HS, they go on a 2 yr mission... Cheers.

For years byu has a system like Nebraska and benefitted from lineman having man strength Older.

Not sure what happened the last decade or so. Or whether as you said they take short cuts.

Mormons don’t care about their own rules or previous taboos on rave etc. They care that their sports teams win and are the happy face of Mormonism I think for awhile their focus might have been academics and they didn’t want to be mercenaries. Just missionaries.

They just gave $6 million to the top basketball recruit in the country and shocked everyone by getting him. They’ve been playing black Muslims on the hoops team. So they appear serious in both sports.

They definitely looked more physical than Colorado. I was surprised CU got their asses kicked so badly.

They are 25 year old men. Married with 2 kids. Adults.

Playing BYU is always a tough out. Kids vs adults. There’s a reason the NFL has an age restriction.
