Someone on Twitter compared Williams' season this year to Darnold's last year. Good comparison. Both regressed on their own and were affected by crappy coaching. Bad combo.

I am not sure it's that. I thnk you become so married to some thing that made you successful that you over rely on that. You also worry about your future and limit your own game.

Darnold was surrounded by a better team first year than second. Perhaps Caleb was too, though that thought is a fairly new one.
