Caleb Williams needs to leave NOW

He's had 3 years to figure out what he's going to do.

He spent this whole year playing scared and protecting his pocketbook.

He ruined the tightly scripted Riley offense by going off script and creating holding penalties galore. Sacks, and WR quitting on routes in frustration. it disintegrated the offense.

Now he's pontificating about how IMPORTANT the year was to teach him how to lose. Awesome.

Your presence is clogging the pathway for others. Top QB don't want to come as long as you're soaking in the NIL money. Get off the salary cap. Leave. Or stay. But I'd rather you leave.

He and dad had a plan since the 8th grade. We all read and hear about it. Great. Go do it.

This was an important year for USC too. We learned that you can't serve two masters. Bible says that's God and Man. Hmmm, maybe it's God and money. I confess I am not a seminary grad. Anyway, Caleb didn't serve his school well by also tryign to serve his future agent.

Come back next year on your bye week or when you are nursing your torn ACL playing for the Bears. We will all ahve a nice ceremony and retire your number. Will put Reggies up on the same Banner. There's space allocated for two more.

At present, you're the past and you're being a distraction. Either you are the USC QB or you're not. Quit chirping if you're not. If you are, you better have learned something. Because so far, I don't see it,

I read this morning where he's not sure he's emotionally prepared for the NFL.

CLR had a nervous breakdown (a bad cold) and needed me time at the end of October.

think you are right , SC needs to move on.

See, this is what I told you last year. He doesn't like football. And in fairness a lot of kid actors hate theater. My oldest kid hated baseball. 8 year olds don't have the drive to do it on their own so parents have the vision and the drive. That can be overwhelming and when you live that life for your whole childhood it becomes a JOB. his job is to play QB. And that's fine. But "emotionally ready"???? OMG cry me a f ing river. Shut up. A straight man's non gay sport. So quit blowing up everyon'e gaydar with all this behavior.

Lincoln Riley has a system. It works for him. He is a great OC. he needs guys who don't think they invented football to ruin it. Come in, run the play, audible out if you see the LB move w the motion man and they are in man. Take the snap. Count to 3 and when you hear "3" in your head either take off or throw the ball. Throw it to someone or throw it away. Only look at each WR once. Fast, quick. Mike Leach.

Oh and yo uneed two fo them. Why? because running is both important. And Dangerous. Finding guys who like football and understand getting hurt is part of it is pretty key. No one likes to hurt. Understood. But if I need 8 yards on 3rd down? I want a guy who sends his WR deep and then runs to the open spot and dives to the line

I am not angry at Caleb. But I don't want an employee working for me who is short timing it prepping for the next job he thinks he may want to take. Dude. Give me a solid 8 hours on the forklift or on the truck or in the warehouse. I am not paying you to be on the phone half the shuift with the wife trying to decide on your next house or job.

Caleb? We already know who he is and he's not about USC. I am happy for the Heisman. That's great. I am happy for the ND embarrassment in 2022. Delicious. Great highlights. But I also know when you play playground ball the system breaks down. Kids quit blocking. Or the hold. WR stop blocking on hitch routes.

Watch the UCLA reply. Know when they run trips right or left and they throw the long handoff to the guy who steps back and the forward WR or two block guys? Sometimes creating a bit of a pick situation? Watch when USC runs that. Rice, #10 and #16 all were the lead guys and they either didn't care. Didn't block. Or gave half hearted shoves. Why? Because they knew they were probably going to be running around waving their hand as Caleb scrambled. So why not get an early start on it? Thats how an O breaks down. You have Ol in their stance for 30 seconds freezing as Caleb fiddles. You have them pass blocking their man to the outside and then WHOOPS Caleb is there. Now they have to move their man but do so without closing your hands as their man also moves to the outside and you have to move him in. CAN'T So either Caleb gets hit or you get flagged or you hope you don't get caught. Or you just give up or half effort.

You sais he is off script. 100% right. he said he wanted to be Coach Riley on the field. he thinks he's Peyton Manning. Problem is. Peyton had a quicker release than anyone ever. Peyton went 1 one thousand 2 one thous-BANG delivered ball. Brady and Manning make super fast and decisive decisions. Caleb does not. And you can even see that in his "leadership" and his decision making now. he's emotional like a woman. Not calculating cold and decisive. Brady and Manning. And Marino were just cold blooded killers. Caleb wants to cuddle his dog

He learned how to lose and he is now more prepared for a terrible NFL team that will draft him. Most highly drafted QB's are not used to losing ever from the time they first played organized sports. Many don't adjust well to losing and never recover. CW has had the experience so he should be more prepared for it. Unfortunately NFL players don't like cry babies so he needs to still work on that...:-)

I think he's an attention whore like the Kardashians who likes being a celebrity more than banging chicks and winning football games. I think he knows the NFL is a JOB and the Bears or Pats suck. Pats would be a good destination for him really. or they could take Fields off the hands of the Bears so the Bears could take Williams. Either way Pats win. Caleb in Boston is close to DC where he grew up. Works.
