Really like Darnold. Nice kid. Rented a place a few doors down for the summer a couple years ago. About as all american kid could be and was raised by great parents. His friends are great kids too. Obviously great parents.

at one time Thought he could be the Next Favre. A gambler who just had a great feel fo the game.

When Marcus Allen ( who I played a round with at Aviara once )was asked about how he picked a hole. He said, I have no idea. If you think about it, it's too late. It's just a feel.

I think Darnold NFL career is done. He's probably going to carry a clipboard for a while, but he just doesn't seem to have whatever it takes to understand the game. I know he has worked hard. His footwork is fixed. Whatever damage Fat ass helton did seems to be gone. He just doesn't seem to have what it takes to take a team to a championship. Few do. Being on bad teams hasn't helped.
