I think being on a shitty team with a shitty OL can do wonders to destroy a young QB's confidence and effectiveness. It happened to Rosen a lot (to a greater extent because Darnold is better) and it happens to most young QBs in the NFL unless they're really stellar players, which we don't see too often; sometimes it takes a few years for QBs to adjust to the game at that level.
That said, Darnold is making a lot of poor decisions and does seem to be regressing. Maybe he'll rebound in time, he still has a lot of talent.
Well the Jets already have as many wins this season as they had all last year not much drop off really. Carolina still has do better than 5 wins to improve upon last season. Maybe they will not there yet. Bridgewater better statistically than Darnold and ranked much higher this year at #22 compared to your boy @ #32
