No not The targeting call that I hate Wish they’d end that walk of shame crap. Absolutely awful for a kid.
no they’re thinking of making the flock start after an incompletion soon as the ball is snapped. Not sure how much that would speed up the game but they are looking at that. Really might affect that spike play if the ref can just put the ball right back down and start it Lot of last second Fg don’t happen
Something needs to be done. The NIL will give colleges in large metro areas a huge financial advantage. If CW rides out his 3 years he may become a Billionaire before he leaves college. Insane.
The rule change I'd like to see is no one can enter the portal until their junior season. I'd like to at least see our recruiting classes make it to game 1

College committees need to make stupid rules to feel relevant.
There is no viable reason for this. If they want two hour games go watch faggot soccer
they are also changing the rule where the clock stops after a first down, thats a huge change.
my amateur version of cut and paste faggotry:
Treating incomplete passes the same as runs out of bounds. Beginning in 2008, the clock started after runs and fumbles out of bounds when the referee signaled "ready for play". Previously, the clock started on the snap after such plays. The committee is considering treating incomplete passes the same way. The rule would be in effect until late in the half or game, perhaps the last 2-5 minutes, according to Shaw.
No longer stopping the clock after first downs. This is a foundational piece of college football that differentiates it from the NFL. This change has long been considered, but the game's overseers have been hesitant, in part, because it would make the college game more like the NFL.
Wouldn't that slow it down? Clock starts as soon as ball is placed by the dipshit PAC-12 ref now, right? That would add time?
