@buddym you forgot Sissy Blue, big obxtacle to overcome.and please drop the high academic standards charade.a halfway decent coach would win at ucla. you dont need so many excuses, one is enough to guarantee failure.

No fan support, empty cupboard, high academic standards and poor AD!

Niether Nick Saban nor Dabo Swinney could succeed at UCLA in this current environment.

You underestimate Saban. He's getting up in years now but in his prime (age wise) he could rebuild that sinking ship.Dabo could probably as well but would need help from boosters and a much longer timeline..IMHO...and of course the administration behind them which based upon what I see in California would be the daunting task....

Fresno State is a good team. Came close to beating my quacks.

I wouldn't give up on Chip just yet. Pac-12 South championship is still wide open imo....and even Oregon in the north isn't without some major faults (O line and depth at ILB). So as I see it, P12 South champ could still make the Rose Bowl....and that would be pretty cool for UCLA, I think.
